A diverse country, the wilder parts of Galicia through the arid plains of the Rioja region and ultimately the bustling coast between Catalonia and Cadiz. Spain has much to offer a traveler no matter what interests you. It’s a country rich in history and superb moorish architecture in the Andalucia region, contrasting to the more rustic culture of the Basque territory bordering France to the north. So whether its coastline or culture which interests you it’s available in abundance on a holiday in Spain.
Spain enjoys one of the best climates in the world. It is a temperate region with sub-tropical conditions along its Mediterranean coastline with cooler more changeable conditions along its northern, Bay of Biscay, coast. The summer months in the south are hot and dry with sultry evenings. Winters are generally mild but can become cool inland and mountainous areas.
Varied regional & international cuisine is readily available and tapas restaurants are especially popular. Spain produces many great red wines with Rioja featuring as a particular favourite for many visitors. You will certainly not be short of choice!
